I am a graduate of Stockton University but when I graduated it was known as the Richard Stockton College of NJ. I majored in English/Literature and received my BA. I also completed the Teacher Education Program and received my certificate to teach 6-12 grade Reading, Writing, and English/Literature.
Experience
My SAT scores were 1190 in 2004. I was a part time tutor in college for students who had trouble with reading and writing classes. I have also substituted at Waterford Twp Elementary School and Galloway Twp. Schools in various classes. I would like to be a tutor because I love to teach and instruct anyone, young and old. I find great joy when someone finally comprehends something they could not understand before. I also love to learn myself and I feel that as a teacher I both instruct and learn something new on a daily basis.
