I have innate ability in math, and I love to help people. Tutoring allows me to share a subject that comes naturally to me with others, I really enjoy it. I am adept at helping others understand math through clear and concise expeditions. I also relate math concepts to things students enjoy to make learning fun. I get a lot of satisfaction out of bringing my students success in their math learning. I want my students not to just understand course material, but also to develop an appreciation for math itself. Many students fear math, especially when they work with instructors who discuss it in abstract terms, so I like to tie concepts in math to applications in the real world so that students are better able to understand and retain these concepts. My goal is that all of my students become independent and motivated learners. In my free time, I enjoy playing sports like basketball and baseball, playing the guitar and trumpet, and science.
